About me.

I'm originally from Detroit, but I have been living in Oakland County for a few years. I can PROUDLY say I am no longer HOMELESS!!!!!! I have just moved into my home a few weeks ago. I have a degree in Human Services and used to work as a case manager at a shelter. My focus now is employment and making my home comfortable for my brother to come visit.

My backstory.

I was living in an apartment taking care of my brother who has autism. The conditions of the apartment wasn't perfect, but it was home. Eventually, without our knowledge the landlord/owner of property walked away from his responsibilities still taking our money! The building foreclosed and one day we received notice that we had to leave the premises immediately!! It was a downward spiral for us after that. Being a care giver is not easy and sometimes jobs don't understand how difficult it is to take care of an adult who can't talk, cook, or clean for themselves. I lost everything I owned and eventually had to give guardianship of my brother to an aunt because I needed to work two sometimes three jobs just to maintain our stability from house to house and various hotels.

My goals, moving forward.

I love my brother more than anything I hope that once I get housed he can come to live with me again. I have a great work ethic, I have experience in telemarketing, and even got my chauffeurs license to market my self in almost every job field. I am searching for employment daily and the jobs are available for drivers... i just do not have the money.

Other things I'd like to share about myself.

My special bond with my brother is what keeps me alive. We will be reunited again, I will be apart of the working class again. I truly believe that. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story. I hope that you can donate to my cause. God bless.
