Lula has reached her fundraising goal on HandUp!

Why I'm using HandUp for my basic needs.

My great-grandchildren and I, we're sleeping on the floor right now. I'm not in the best of health now to sleep on the floor but with some beds we will be fine.

About me.

I'm from Georgia and I've been in Detroit since I was a child. I have custody of my two great-grandchildren to take care of.

My backstory.

I found out that my grandchild was not able to take care of her two children. I had to step in as a grandmother to make sure that they were taken care of and loved and safe.

My goals, moving forward.

My goal is to take care of my two great-grandchilden as long as I can and make sure they are brought up as they are supposed to.

Other things I'd like to share about myself.

I trust in the Lord to help us and see us through this time. I'm doing the best I can and am truly grateful to anyone who can help us.
