I have lived in the Tahoe area on and off since childhood, working in and out of ski industry. I currently am in need of housing and don't have family that can help me.
I have a family history of prostate cancer and when I noticed signs of blood in my urine, I went in to have it checked. I was recently diagnosed with a very aggressive form of prostate cancer which I need to have removed.
My surgery is scheduled for May 14, 2018 at Barton Memorial Hospital in South Lake Tahoe. This is a new procedure called Robotic Radical Prostatectomy, you can learn more on YouTube. After surgery they will keep me in the hospital for 1-2 days but I need a place for 3-4 weeks to ensure my full recovery. If I don’t have the time to recover I risk getting a hernia which will further complicate my ability to work and find permanent housing.
Thank you, I appreciate your help.
