About me.

My name is Tami, I have three children ages 17, 11, and 9. I have lived in Corvallis for over 20 years and really enjoy living in this city. My family and I are very busy we have appointments everyday for each child. We do horse therapy, skills training, counseling, occupational therapy, and other appointments that benefit their needs and skills. I enjoy attending my daughter's basketball games and son's football games they really enjoy these pastimes.

My backstory.

I'm a single mom of three trying to manage all of my bills on one income. All of my kids are wonderful and a few are higher needs which can lead to many challenges in costs and transportation. I'm am unable to work at the moment because I'm unable to find daycare for one of my children due to their higher needs.

My goals, moving forward.

My main goal is to provide for my children and that includes getting them the services that they need in the community to help them function and be productive in society. To reach this goal I need my transportation and a roof over my head. The only way to move forward with these goals is through budgeting my expenses and getting help from HandUp.

Other things I'd like to share about myself.

Being with my kids makes me really happy. My kids really like going to the horse barns and petting the horses. Another thing i enjoy is watching my children play sports.
