About this Campaign
Berrien County is a rural county where the two biggest municipalities are separated by 40 minutes and transportation is one of our consumers’ biggest barriers. With that said, searching for housing, jobs, benefits, moving, etc. in such a rural area is very hard for our consumers whom most are homeless, at risk, lacking sufficient income and reliable transportation.
With your help, Emergency Shelter Services will be able to offer various transportation solutions to help people maintain or gain their independence, connect to their community, and increase their self-sufficiency.
