Jan 2017 Update: You helped Eric get transportation
Eric suffers permanent injuries after being a victim of a home invasion where he was shot in the stomach. Due to these injuries it has been hard for him to maintain work. About 4 years ago, he and his wife separated and it was a tough time for him. He battled depression and drug addiction. Paired with his injuries and inability to work, life became unmanageable and he became homeless. Today, he is working with great people over at Community & Home Supports and is focusing on finding housing and getting his GED. With your support he was able to get a 3-month bus pass so he could have transportation to continue his housing search, and attend all his classes, test, and doctors appointments. Having access to transportation is key in helping him move forward towards stability and getting his life back on track.
