Why I'm using HandUp for rent.

Hand up is one of S.O.S best ideas. I'm appreciative of any help. I recently got into a new place and right now I have extra costs. It would help me get things started off right to be able to pay my rent on time. I can start working right away but I'm starting at the beginning. This is a better life I want for myself and my little girl. I feel hope for the future. Thank you.

About me.

I’m from Detroit; I’ve lived here my entire life. I’ve worked extensively around the metro area. I was raised the youngest of a 5 household family. I’ve spent a great part of my adulthood life, traveling the United States. I also attended Community College twice in my life, once when I was 18 and second when I was 36. I have dreams of a better future.

My backstory.

I have made some negligent decisions and resisted getting the help I needed. Things are better for me finally and over time I see a future that will involve home ownership and a satisfying job. I have a disability but I have still always tried to work.

My goals, moving forward.

Housing and a successful life financially. I would like to have a fresh start to catch up with the economy. I'm appreciating the help I have received to get my life on track.

Other things I'd like to share about myself.

Communicating, attending fellowship meetings, book clubs, and sporting events make me most happy. I am proud of my education, family values, and belief system. My wildest dream would be to become wealthy. Last, I’m just living simple with gratitude..
