I am raising funds to help sustain my current housing. I have moved into a place after being homeless on and off for 9 years. Currently I do not have the means to pay for my utilities as I am focusing on my new home and becoming accustomed to the area. I have worked doing landscaping and home repairs for many of years but at this time I needed to focus on getting back on track and finding a home.
I was born and raised in West Bloomfield where I lived until about twenty years ago. I have always worked doing landscape, side jobs, painting, and cleaning. I enjoy fishing and riding my bike often, I also enjoy reading and writing.
At the early ages of my teen years I became addicted to drugs and alcohol. At sixteen I dropped out of high school. It wasn't until my parents passed away that I became homeless. I lived with friends throughout the years but nothing was stable. Drugs and alcohol is what lead me to become homeless and it wasn't until I became clean that I made housing a priority.
My main goal is to obtain full-time employment either doing landscaping or home repairs, keep up on my current housing, all while staying clean and sober.
Staying busy and keeping busy is what makes me the happiest. At this time all my focus is on working and saving money so that I can purchase a vehicle.
