I am raising funds for application fees so I can secure housing for me and my children.

About me.

I was born and raised in Pontiac. I lived in different parts of Texas for 8 years. I have three children, a son (15) and two daughters (13 & 10). I enjoy cooking and being home with my kids and taking them out when I can.

My backstory.

My situation started back in Texas in September 2020. I lost everything due to fleeing domestic violence. I was finally able to return to Michigan in November 2022, but I have not been able to secure a home. I want to have my own place for my children and create a positive and safe environment for them.

My goals, moving forward.

My dream is to be a homeowner.

Moving forward I want to take parenting and financial classes. I want to pay off my debt (half of which is from losing my car in Texas while fleeing). I also want to go to therapy.

Other things I'd like to share about myself.

Seeing my children happy makes me happy.

One of my biggest accomplishments is being able to speak Spanish and to carry a conversation.
