Hello, my name is Faisal. I just recently got my own place after being chronically homeless over the past few years. I suffered through COVID-19 with the rest of the country, and I also suffered a number of strokes over the past year. The strokes unfortunately left one half of my body nearly paralyzed, thus making every day tasks difficult or impossible. Not having a washer and dryer in my unit makes me unable to have clean clothes, as I cannot drive to a laundromat or afford others to do it for me. I would be eternally grateful if members of my community could help me get my own washer and dryer so that I can gain more independence and make my new place feel like a home.
I'm raising money for the ability to restore my license so I can more easily get around and make my appointments.
