About me.

I am a mother of three young kids, all under 5 years old. I have spent most of my adult life caring for others, both professionally and personally. I have several years of childcare experience, starting when I was a teenager working as an assistant teacher in a Kindergarten classroom. I have taken two parenting classes to renew my strength in working with children. I have also taken childcare classes that included training that was focused on children with special needs. Most of my time is spent caring for my children.

My backstory.

I left an unsafe and toxic environment to protect myself and my children. That resulted in us becoming homeless and losing stability. Since then, I have been doing my best to rebuild while caring for my children with limited support.

My goals, moving forward.

My biggest goal is to secure stable housing so that my kids and I can be at peace. We have been to three shelters this year, and I long for consistency and peace of mind. I am working towards long-term stability by building on my childcare experience, continuing certifications, and seeking opportunities that will allow me to provide for my kids and make them proud. I want to create a safe and healthy environment where my kids can thrive, and I can continue to grow as a parent.

Other things I'd like to share about myself.

What makes me the happiest is watching my kids grow and learn new things, and seeing their personalities pop out. My proudest moments are the ones where I kept going for them even when things felt unbearable. My wildest dream is to open my own in-home childcare center, get my drivers liscence and a car, and continuous stablitity. Something about me is that I am very caring and always ready to help someone else, even if I go without.
