Why I'm using HandUp for housing.

I am using hand up as a way to get my story heard and ask for help from the right people. I am a firm believer God sends his people for his people.

About me.

I'm from Detroit, Mi. I've worked in Dental and Healthcare. My last job was as a security guard for BetterMade. I am a mom of 6 and mama for two. I love reading my bible, reading books to the little ones, and going to church and playing games.

My backstory.

I was evicted a couple years ago due to my older children's father. I sent my children to my family while I slept in a truck on my job site until I was told I could not be there off work hours. I tried reaching out to someone who was a friend but was taken advantage of and became pregnant. I did get a house but had rent during my maternity leave so I got evicted again. I also injured my leg during child birth.

My goals, moving forward.

I'm working towards stable housing and a car so I can get back to work and provide for my family and they will have a safe place while I'm away.

Other things I'd like to share about myself.

Helping people makes me happy. Having a home healthcare business also makes me happy.
