I'm trying to build the best life for me and my family.
About me.
I am single mother from the Metro Detroit area. I am currently working at a grocery store and raising my eleven year old son. I just moved into my new home on January 31st, 2018. I enjoy spending my time with son and making him smile.
My backstory.
I became homeless after a broken relationship in 2016. I slept in a van that was eventually towed and scrapped. I reached out to South Oakland Shelter for housing assistance, and everything has been improving!
My goals, moving forward.
Right now I am only working part time. I am looking for another job opportunity so I can afford to buy a vehicle.
Other things I'd like to share about myself.
What makes me happiest is knowing that my son is safe, sound, and happy.
