I am raising funds for security deposit and first months rent to secure safe housing for my children and I.

About me.

I was born in Kingston, Jamaica and moved to the United States when I was 8 years old. After moving from Jamaica we resided in Detroit, MI where I lived until 2019. A year ago I moved to Oak Park,MI where I secured housing for my six children and I. During that time, I started working for the owner of the complex doing several different jobs like cleaning and the upkeep of the apartments. I enjoy spending time and doing activities with my children. We love going to the park, taking walks, and spending time with family and friends.

My backstory.

While I was living and working at the apartment complex there was a conflict with the owner due to not adequately paying me for the services rendered. This caused some issues between my landlord and ultimately caused me to become homeless. We had to vacate the home, with no where to go which resulted in my children and I sleeping in my car.

My goals, moving forward.

My goal is secure safe and affordable housing my my six children and I. I am determined to find employment once we are in stable housing. I would love to one day purchase my own home so that my children will have a permanent place to call home.

Other things I'd like to share about myself.

My children make me the happiest and are my world. Spending time with them gives me the greatest joy. I love seeing my children happy,with a safe and stable home this will put my troubles at ease and we can move forward happily together.
