About me.

I've grown up in Pontiac and have raised my 12 children in Pontiac as well. I am working to regain full custody of all 12 children so that we can be a household again. My children range in age from age 23 to 1 years old. They are what keep me motivated to better myself. I am a Christian and have faith that God has brought me this far in my journey and will continue to lead me.

I recently said good-bye to my premature daughter after caring for her for a few months. This has been a very difficult loss for me, but I continue to persevere and focus on rebuilding my life. I am in the process of regaining custody of two of my children.

My backstory.

I have struggled with homelessness on and off for the past few years. I am proud to say that I have been clean and sober for 3 years. My journey to sobriety has been rough, but I am determined to stay clean and have a fresh start in life.

My goals, moving forward.

I'm enrolled in a GED program and plan on completing that program within the next year. After obtaining my GED I would like to go to college and become a paralegal.

Other things I'd like to share about myself.

My proudest moment was when I realized that I needed to change my life, become clean & sober, and actually be a mom to my kids. I plan on maintaining my sobriety and being the best mom I can be! In addition to being a mom, I am also a proud grandmother to a grandson and hope for many more grandchildren in the future.
