I am a mom of six. One of my children passed away 14 years ago and two of have moved out of the house. I still have three living with me. A few months ago, I had surgery and when I returned to my home, there was a letter stating Demand of Property back on my unit. My family and I ended up homeless because of it and stayed that for a few months until Lighthouse called.

About me.

I was born in Philly but moved to Michigan when I was three. I am a single mom and lost one of my children almost 15 years ago. Things have been difficult for us.

My backstory.

Our landlord wanted his apartment back and did not want to renew our lease.

My goals, moving forward.

I want to get some help with housing, put my kids back in school, and find a job so I can get back on my feet.
