I had to drop everything because of my abuser. I want a house or apartment where my children can be safe and comfortable. I want to improve my situation by going to college to become a registered nurse.

About me.
I am from Detroit, MI. I have two sons. They are a bright spot in my life. I spend my time by watching TV and taking my boys to the park.
My backstory.
I was already homeless, living with a family member, when I met my abuser. I moved in with him but that's when the abuse started. I was able to find safety in another shelter before getting moved to Lighthouse.
My goals, moving forward.
The next thing is getting a job to get back on my feet. I want to get my kids a home and a car. My goal is to go back to school to become a registered nurse because I love helping people.
Other things I'd like to share about myself.
Things that make me happy are having fun and seeing my kids happy. My wildest dream is to become a nurse, open my own hair salon, and start my children's clothing line business.
