I was born and raised in Detroit. I'm currently working on my GED. I have a 3 year old son who I spent all my time with. I went through a janitorial training and am looking for employment in that field.
I came to COTS a few years ago after I became homeless from leaving a domestic violence situation. Once I was at COTS my life started to turn around. I started working on my GED, I completed a parenting course and the janitorial training. I found permanent housing and have lived in that apartment since moving out of COTS in June 2018.
I'm working towards getting a job in the janitorial field and one day owning my own cleaning business. I'm also working towards my GED and hopefully will be getting my license soon.
My proudest moment is when I became a mother. I love my son so much and do everything for him.

I'm raising money for Furniture and other Household Items so I can feel comfortable in my new apartment.
