About me.

I am a single mother of two, with a disabled son. I am originally from Saudi Arabia, but I had been living in Clarkston, Michigan before becoming homeless. I work part time in the healthcare field and take care of my son full time.

My backstory.

I have found myself in this situation by fleeing domestic violence from my ex-husband. Despite having a job, I cannot afford a house on my own right now, as money is still going towards bills on the ex-husband's house.

My goals, moving forward.

My goal is to find permanent housing that is suitable for taking care of my son and his disability. I want to get back on my feet financially and have independence.

Other things I'd like to share about myself.

I am proud of myself for fleeing a violent situation and finding safety for me and my family. I have been able to accomplish more towards my goals since leaving.
