God Counts The Tears

God Counts the Tears is a partnership with the Metro-Detroit area non-profits and faith communities to help support families whose loved ones and providers have died because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

These families have borne the greatest suffering of this pandemic. Their stories break our hearts and we share in their sorrows. Their death affects all of us. We want them to know they do not suffer alone.

GodCountsTears.org is a place to share the stories of these important families and raise funds for each family as a public act of shared mourning.

As we mourn collectively, we can also gather our collective resources to support financially these families known to trusted faith leaders and community leaders. Read the stories of the families. Make a contribution to a specific family or the fund in general. As God counts all of our tears, we begin the work of being made whole through reading, remembering, mourning and sharing.
