As a Wisconsinite, you know how brutally cold our winters can be. Imagine sleeping outside in them. That’s the reality for many Milwaukeeans because there aren’t enough beds in our homeless shelters to house everyone over our cold winter nights. So people don’t freeze to death, we open warming rooms, but we can only do this with the financial support from community members like you.

Warming rooms provide shelter space and safety for Milwaukee’s most vulnerable residents. Please consider making a donation to this campaign to support the staffing, food, and supplies needed to make sure there is a warming room for every population (youth, men, women, and families) throughout our city. Skilled CoC staff and volunteers make sure every warming room is run to standards, showing compassion, and supplying resources to those in need.
