I just want to say a huge thank you to those who donated when my family was at risk of losing our home, especially the anonymous donor who made up the difference so that my Mom could pay the full past due rent.

We were able to keep our place and now we're forever grateful to you. I wish there was something I could do to repay your generosity. For my mom, receiving notification of your donation felt like miracle as we were already imagining ourselves back in shelter. We thank God that we are able to get back to daily life and we won't be living in fear of losing our home.

I will be getting baptized this Easter season, and at my baptism I am going to ask the priest to say a prayer for everybody who gives through HandUp. My brothers are training this baseball season and they will be playing football as well when that season starts. My mom wants to make sure they can focus on school, and she wants to keep them busy doing sports, since that is what they love the most. We are all happy to have stability. Once again, god bless everybody at HandUp for making hard situations, like the one we went through, change from a nightmare to a beautiful new reality. We now feel stronger and hopeful.
