Why I'm using HandUp for Lawn Services.

I am fundraising to pay for lawn cutting as I cannot afford a lawn mower at this time and want to limit the fees I receive from the landlord and city. I also recently had a heart attack and cutting the grass in the heat is not good for my health.

About me.

I recently obtained housing after being homeless for many of years living in my car and on the streets. I am a single father with sole custody of my daughter who is my world. I was working until I had my heart attack and tried to go back to work after being recovering. However that was a challenge as I had many restrictions in place that employers would not work with. I love spending time with my daughter.

My backstory.

I am currently struggling to pay for lawn services which is a term of my lease agreement because I cannot afford a lawn mower ad I struggle to cut the grass due to my health issues. I am trying to get back on my feet after being homeless for a very long time.

My goals, moving forward.

My goal is to obtain employment and work with an employer that will acknowledge my restrictions due to my health. I want to get my daughter into childcare as I do not have much support when it comes to family or friends. My daughters mother lost all rights to our daughter so I am the sole caregiver.
