I am a 22-year-old Latina living in the Mission District of San Francisco. I have been trying to get back to school for a while, but one of the main challenges for me is cost.
I heard about MEDA's Bilingual Bank Teller Program from my mother, who has been taking computer classes at the nonprofit's Plaza Adelante Tech Center.
Once I enrolled in the Bank Teller program, the instructor and staff noticed my motivation and drive to complete the program.
My short-term goal is to complete the Bilingual Bank Teller Program and pursue employment in the bank industry.
