About me.

My name is Ashanti Gooden, I lived in Detroit Mi most of my life. I have been working at Accession Providence Hospital for three years in food nutrition. I have two kids, Dylan 8 and Dakota 7. We enjoy each other's company, and as a family enjoy bike riding, reading books, and watching movies together. I had planned to never have kids, But they changed my life and I wouldn't trade my kids for anything in the this world, they my everything.

My backstory.

Taking care of my sister who has a disability and my nephew , I tried to help my family. Trying to do everything on my own caused me to loss everything in August 2019, and left me and my children homeless.

My goals, moving forward.

I want to get stably housed, and go back to school to get my degree as a social worker, and be able to help others. I want to be able to do things for my children and take them places and give them more then I had as a child.

Other things I'd like to share about myself.

What makes me happiest is seeing my kids happy. Being comfortable and having our own place. My proudest moments is seeing my children happy .
