I want to live happy, stable and not have to stress about where we are going to sleep. I would also like to have car insurance and a safer vehicle. Most importantly, I want housing for our children who we have not had overnight in over four months due to homelessness.
I am previously from Oxford but have lived in Clarkston for about a year. I work at the Kroger Bakery as a cake decorator. My boyfriend and I have a total of nine children. My birth daughters are 13, 8, 4, and 2 but I only have custody of the youngest. My extra time is spent with my family and doing school work.
We were sub-renting a trailer but the owner mislead us and was not paying lot rent. They owed about $4,500. The trailer park owner changed the locks on the doors and we were given 15 minutes to get what we could and leave. We were forced to live out of our vehicle and hotel rooms, which drained and overdraft our bank accounts. We had to leave many items behind, including the 2-year-olds bed and toys.
I want to make our car safe to drive, including insurance and current registration. I want a house we can make a home where my children feel safe and comfortable. I want to pay off my bills, debt, and work towards building my credit. I also want to graduate from school.
My proudest moment was every time I birthed my daughters and created a family. I love being able to teach my children life lessons and watch them make their own life choices. One day, I hope to have all of my children living under one roof in a place we call home so that I can hug them everyday and read them a bedtime story.
