I'm raising money for rent money so I can avoid eviction.

Why I'm using HandUp for rent money.

I am not able to pay my rent for the month of September. I was robbed about a year ago and have been trying my best to stay on top of my rent. Sometimes this meant asking for a payday loan in order to pay my rent on time. I am not able to borrow any more money at this time, so I need assistance in paying one month of rent so I can get back on my feet and focus on my health.

About me.

I am from Detroit and have lived here all my life. I am currently retired and spend my time taking care of my apartment and watching TV.

My backstory.

I got into this situation because I was robbed of all my money a year ago. I have tried to stay on top of my rent, but I do not have any other avenues to do so at this time.
