Why I'm using HandUp for a washer and dryer.
I simply cannot afford to keep going to the laundromat. A washer and dryer would make my life much easier but, I cannot afford a washer and dryer on my own. I am asking for a HandUp to help make my life simpler and more affordable.
About me.
My son and I live together. We like to say at home but, sometimes we like to go to the library. I'm originally from Louisiana and Kentucky but I've been here about 6 years.
My backstory.
My son and I became homeless wen they cut him off disability when he turned 18 and I could no longer afford housing. I have been housed for about 5 months now.
My goals, moving forward.
My goal is to go back to school to get my GED.
Other things I'd like to share about myself.
My son being with me makes me the happiest and my proudest moment was getting my place.
