Why I'm using HandUp for rent.
I am using Hand Up to help maintain my rent.
About me.
I was born in Pontiac, MI. My family and I moved to California and I lived there for about 10 years, then we moved back to Michigan when my father died. Most of my adult life I worked in different restaurants and a large KMART for many years. I have four children ranging in age from 36 to 18 years old. In my free time I love to listen to music, reading, and going to church.
My backstory.
My aunt left her house to my sister years ago, where we and some of my other family lived. Unfortunately, there was a huge fire and we lost everything. My family split up, but I never was able to secure housing due to my disabilities and lack of income.
My goals, moving forward.
I am hoping to raise money for housing so that I can reach housing goals and get reconnected with my family.
Other things I'd like to share about myself.
I love my family and I want nothing more than to be with them. Any help you can give me will make this dream come true.
