About me.

I've lived in Detroit for my whole life, and had been working at Goodwill until my recent trouble with housing. Me and my three kids need help, and I don't have family that I can count on.

My backstory.

We had to move out of the home my family had been in for seven years, my family became homeless and we had no where to go. I found housing again after staying at a shelter, but because of the pandemic the housing program I work with wasn't able to do an health inspection because of Covid-19 concerns and I later found out that the house has problems that my family can't be around. It hurts when you don't have anyone to help you when you need it.

My goals, moving forward.

I want to go back to school and become successful. I want to be the best I can be for me and my kids.

Other things I'd like to share about myself.

I am the happiest when my family and I don't want or need anything. My proudest moment is when I see the smiles on my kids faces. My dream is to be secure in my housing and life for my children.
