I'm raising money for a rental car so I can work.

Why I'm using HandUp for a rental car.

I am homeless in this moment, and want to get out of this situation. I have been looking for a job for a while, and want to get a job driving so I can help my family and bring my son and wife over from Venezuela.

About me.

I am from Venezuela originally, I came to San Francisco in March 2022, and am working hard to get myself housing and employment so I can take care of my family.

My backstory.

I used to work as a Lawyer in my country, but the economic situation in Venezuela is not good so I had to come here to be able to pay for my son's birth. After arriving in the US in March of this year, the guy who I was renting from and working for Scammed me. He took all the money and disappeared. This situation is what led to me ending up on the streets.

My goals, moving forward.

My short term goal is to rent a car and start making money. After that, bring my son and wife to live with me. That is my dream every day!

Other things I'd like to share about myself.

Speaking with my family, the fact that I made friends in the shelter. My personal proudest moment is the day I graduated University. My Mom had a travel agency, my goal is to someday have my own travel agency.
