I am using a hands up account to share my story about how I’ve been struggling and to hopefully get some assistance.
About me.
I am a 41 year old female, I was born in Dayton Ohio and moved to royal oak last year until I was placed in the shelter. I haven’t worked in 4 years because of mental health issues. I dont have any family assistance.
My backstory.
I became homeless after relocating and haven’t been able to keep a job because of my mental state. I was living on the streets until I was placed into the shelter.
My goals, moving forward.
My goal is to find housing and become stable mentally. I just want to be in my own home again, and then everything else will be able to come together for me.
Other things I'd like to share about myself.
My happiest moments is being able to help other. My proudest moment is being able to put a smile on other face. my wildest dream is being able to give back and other other that is having a hard time or facing homelessness.
