Why I'm using HandUp for my security deposit.

I am a single father and am in need of assistance with my security deposit so that I can have safe housing for myself and my young son. Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to leave my previous housing unexpectedly. The pandemic and being a single father has made it challenging to stay on top of bills, but my child is everything to me and I just want to be able to provide a safe home for him. I am also currently in school trying to earn a degree that will allow me to get a better job that I can use my skills in and provide for myself and my son.

About me.

I am a very hard worker and have been working several odd jobs to make ends meet. While working, I have also been taking college classes to better myself and open myself to better job opportunities. I am a single father and I love spending time with my son. I want to give him the best life that I can give him.

My backstory.

Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to suddenly leave my past housing location. I am now trying to get into new housing but I need help with the security deposit as this was an expense I was not prepared for. I just need some help to get back on my feet as I am still trying to work, go to school, and raise my son by myself.

My goals, moving forward.

My main goal is to take care of my son. As I am currently in school, another goal for me is to complete my degree and find a great job that will allow me to use my talents and also provide for my son.
