I'm raising money for basic needs.

About me.

I'm from Detroit and I've lived here all my life. I worked at Hard Rock Cafe Downtown. I spend my time here at the center.

My backstory.

Drinking and drug use led me to my situation. I went through a divorce after 10 years, then I lost my home, and I started drinking and lost focus.

My goals, moving forward.

I'm working toward having a home with family and learning to have my own home again.

Other things I'd like to share about myself.

My happiest moment is when I got myself back together. My wildest dream is having my own home and my own car. Today, my hobbies are sports, watching movies, and bowling.

An update to Lee's goal on HandUp
Nov 15, 2018 at 2:22p.m.

Lee was recently gifted a used car by a close friend of his who no longer needs it due to her fight with cancer. He plans to go with our Outreach Director to tow the car, take it to the shop for minor repairs, and then visit the SOS to register the car in his name. He's very grateful for this support and the understanding of the change to his profile.
