I have been working on paying off my DTE bill that grew after losing my job and two surgeries. I finally made it to a place where I can meet the monthly payment, but I am starting a new job and will not get paid before the bill is due. I am also dealing with more important health concerns and my very limited income is going towards my medication.
I have always been independent, but right now I'm having a really hard time. I go to work every day but I owe too many people, and there is not enough money. I spend most of my time with family including my grandchildren who I love..
I needed two different surgeries and I was bedridden for more than a month, with a slow recovery after that. I ended up losing my job, which I had been at for years. Ever since then, I can't get ahead and my life is really spinning downward. I don't know what I'm going to do. My electricity is shut off and I have a large balance.
I'm looking into some type of debt/credit counseling, after learning a very hard lesson about buying used cars. Once I'm healthy enough, I would like to look for a higher-paying job. I will also need a new car.
Being with my grandhildren makes me happiest.
I'm raising money for basic needs.
