Why I'm using HandUp for security deposit.

it would help me establish myself and a household. Last few years have been tough for me. Back in 2018 of March, my doctor told me to come to the hospital for testing, and I was diagnosed with leukemia. A week after I was getting chemotherapy and that went on until later in 2018. I've been on Social Security Disability ever since, and when the pandemic hit everything's been turned upside down.

About me.

i Was born and raised in Detroit, and I've been in Eastpointe michigan for the past 7 years. Worked as a shipping supervisor. I usually spend my time doing DJ work and making music when I'm not trying to care for my family and find housing.

My backstory.

The chemotherapy and the pandemic combined pretty much got us to our current situation: the pay cut was really harsh and our bills were the same as before regardless.

My goals, moving forward.

My biggest goal is financial stability and being able to find a decent life for my children.

Other things I'd like to share about myself.

What makes me happiest is seeing my family at ease and peace of mind. My proudest moment is seeing my oldest daughter excel the way she is at school and everything. My wildest dream would just be to get us back to a comfortable state of living.
