I'm raising money for Hotel and travel expenses so I can locate a unit to use my voucher.

Why I'm using HandUp for Hotel and travel expenses.

I am currently staying in a hotel while I search for housing for my daughter and I. At this time I am not working and have used panhandling to cover the cost of our stay each night. I recently became eligible for a voucher with section 8 and don't have the means to look for apartments.

About me.

I have lived in Detroit for all my life. I am currently unemployed and spend most of my day panhandling for funds to maintain my hotel stay.

My backstory.

I am a single father of a teenage daughter. I have been raising her from a baby.

My goals, moving forward.

My goal is to find a good home for her to finish out her schooling.
