Why I'm using HandUp for a new car.

My monthly income is not enough to cover all of my expenses. I have doctors appointments for my medical condition in order to improve my living condition to be able to spend time with my grandchildren and enjoy them. I've been diagnosed with heart failure and I have cancer in remission.

About me.

I am originally from Montgomery, Alabama. I moved to Michigan in 2016 due to health issues and a family emergency. I spend a lot of time looking for resources and places to maintain a clean and decent living place without worrying about how I am going to pay for it.

My backstory.

I was living in a place in Pontiac for two years before I found out the place had mold and mildew. Management ignored my concerns. I ended up staying with a friend but that fell through when she had to move away. I found a new place but that place had broken windows, was falling apart, and had animals living in the ceiling. The landlord refused to fix any of it and I had to stop keeping my grandson for his safety.

My goals, moving forward.

I want to be able to find a decent place to live so that I can have my grandchildren over. I want to generate more income to help with my heart problem.

Other things I'd like to share about myself.

My grandchildren are my pride and joy. I love watching them grow and spending time with them.
