About me.

I'm a veteran and I lived in Southfield for the past 8 years, but ended up in Detroit. I have worked as a security guard for a few churches and really enjoyed my job before I got sick. I have one child that will be 30 years old in December. Being a father means so much to me.

My backstory.

I ended up in my current situation because I fell ill and had to leave my job. Without that income, I ended up homeless. I am house sitting for a friend who is fixing up a house in Detroit, I'm helping them fix it up little by little, but it needs a lot of work. I'm waiting on my section 8 voucher and a place I can call my permanent home.

My goals, moving forward.

I am working towards getting my pension. It hasn't been easy, but I know in the end it will all be worth it.
