I'm using HandUp because my family is in need of a helping hand to help lift us up.

About me.

My three children and I have been staying in Oakland County since May. We are from Wayne County and due to lack of shelter we ended up in Oakland county. I enjoy spending time with family and friends and taking the kids out to the park.

My backstory.

I was in a abusive relations, and lost my job during the pandemic, When I fled the relationship, me and my family was staying in my vehicle and motels when I could afford a stay. I ended an abusive relationship and lost my job due to the pandemic.

My goals, moving forward.

My goals are to to get stable housing for me and my children's. Go back to work and maintain our housing. utilize any resources available to help provide my family find safe and stable housing.

Other things I'd like to share about myself.

I am happiest when I am able to provide for the needs of my children. They are my life and my motivation! My proudest moments is when I see them happy and in housing, homelessness has been really hard on my family.
