Why I'm using HandUp for past due rent.

I have found myself unable to pay my full rent due to helping my daughter, grandchild and also my elderly father. I have health issues which make it hard to work, so right now I'm on a fixed income. My family needs my help and I just can't seem to make ends meet. It would mean a great deal to me to be able to keep my house, and provide a safe home for my daughter, grandson and her baby that will be arriving soon.

About me.

Pamela has fallen on hard times and may lose her home. What's worse....the home has been in her family since she was a little girl. Currently Pamela is also providing shelter for her daughter (who is expecting), and her young grandson. Pamela's father also requires assistance at this time, due to failing health. Pamela is behind on rent and is in danger of being evicted. Pamela would love to be able to keep her childhood home in her family, and keep herself and her family from becoming homeless.

My backstory.

I can't seem to get on top of things as there is always something unexpected that comes along. I have struggled for awhile now especially since I cannot work at this time. My daughter's baby is due soon and we are about to become homeless. I never thought this would happen to my family.

My goals, moving forward.

My goal is to get over this crisis without losing our home, and then start looking at some longer term goals such as financial management. I would also like to move my father into my house but that requires a wheelchair ramp. I hope to help my daughter with babysitting once she has the baby. I would like to find part time employment working from home and will continue to work with an employment specialist who has been helping me find something suitable.

Other things I'd like to share about myself.

Having a peaceful life makes me happy. My daughter and grandson make me proud every day.
