I went to visit Pat at the hospital on Saturday and he was recovering quite well. Up and walking, talking and thankful. Your generosity of finances, time and supportive words are appreciated. In addition to the $550 raised on HandUp we also have raised $200 from personal donations. Because of this support he moved into a local S Lake Motel late yesterday and will be there through Thursday. Plans will continue to develop as his recovery unfolds and he meets with his doctor mid-week.

We are still working to raise the remaining $450 which would continue to help Pat recover from surgery over the next few weeks by giving him a place to stay and basic necessities. In addition, this gives him time to make connections for work and longer term housing when his recovery in complete.
