About me.

I am from Oak Park Michigan. I have been living there for some years now. I am a single mother with two kids ages 14 and 16. I enjoy reading and learning new things. My work experience is in customer service, administration and some management. I was also in the Airforce in Texas for four years, and was honorably discharged because of a disability. I'm have been employed full-time since September 2015 and just recently secured a home for my children and I.

My backstory.

It all started when I lost my dad. I stopped working as a supervisor, where I made a good living, to take care of him. I was stuck with the burial costs as he had no life insurance. I was unable to find employment quickly enough so I lost my townhouse and became homeless. No family, just me and my kids.

My goals, moving forward.

My goals moving forward are to get a house, maintain my employment., and make enough money to take care of my family's needs.

Other things I'd like to share about myself.

I don't give up. I still believe that I can make my dreams come true and help others that are in this situation to pay it forward.
