I'm raising money for security deposit so I can get stable housing.

Why I'm using HandUp for security deposit.

Im using hand up because I am actually disabled myself. I am unable to work because I am disabled, I also have a disabled child. All I want it to be able to find a home for my daughter and I and for us to be safe.

About me.

I am a 26 year old woman disabled woman with a 3 year old disabled daughter. I was born in Pontiac, Mi and have lived there most of my life. I grew up in foster care, I never met my biological father and when I did meet my mother she had 5 years to live. She was dying from cancer. I am close with my sister but both of my parents are deceased. I don’t have any help for myself or my daughter. My daughter has 20 + appointments a month, most of my time is taken up by her. I don’t have time for myself.

My backstory.

I was hit by a car in 2012 which left me disabled. I have a liver condition which leaves me unable to work. My daughter has cerebral palsy and musical dystrophy. She was several appointments a month and is unable to get by alone. I am unable to work because I have no one to help me out with my daughter. It has been really rough.

My goals, moving forward.

My goal moving forward is to secure a home for my daughter and i. I want her to have a stable and safe home to grow up in. I want to give her the best life possible because we’re all each other has.

I will always give my daughter the best life possible, life hasn’t always been easy for me but she makes it worth it.
