I'm raising funds for my DTE bill while I'm working through a social security case. After settling into our home we are doing everything in our power to continue to move towards income stability.
I am disabled with two daughters, and one of my daughters is disabled as well with scoliosis. We lost our home in Detroit and my relatives invited us to live with them in Pontiac, MI. Unfortunately, that didn’t go as planned which left us homeless. My oldest daughter has a degree in Psychology and business marketing and is currently trying to find a job in her field.
My daughters and I have been homeless since January of 2019. We were living with my grandmother who fell ill and shortly later passed away. After her passing everything went down hill, the pipes burst, breaking the hot water heater as well as the furnace. We couldn’t afford to fix either which led us to being homeless, with no car, and very few clothing options left.
Moving forward we plan to find a stable home, vehicle, and a source of income that’s steadily coming in.
My daughters and I have always been the “three musketeers”. Regardless of anything we have been through we always stick together. I have faith that our lives will get better soon!
I'm raising money for security deposit so I can find stable houisng.
I'm raising money for my license reinstatement so I can get my drivers license back.
I'm raising money for basic needs.
