About me.

My name is Teresa and I am 47 years old. I was born and raised in Cleveland, OH. I have been in Michigan for a few months now. I came to Michigan to escape an abusive relationship which has caused me to lose my job of 10 years. I have worked in factories all my life and I enjoy making and building things. My Passion is for children and the elderly, I love taking care of them.

My backstory.

My current situation has been caused due to the domestic violence, I was tired of being abused. After 15 years I have finally found the strength and courage to leave my abuser. I was raised in a religious family and attended church regularly. I am a very respectful, loyal, and devoted person. I am always trying to think positive and make things work with the resources I have.

My goals, moving forward.

My goals in life are to further my education, I want to own my own business and I want to be able to help victims like myself. I started with obtaining safe housing, now I can start building and branching off to my long term goals like getting a good job.

Other things I'd like to share about myself.

I'm a great person who has made a few bad choices because of love. I was raised in a single family home with not much love and nurturing. All I have ever wanted was someone to love me for me.
