Why I'm using HandUp for credit repair.

I’m fundraising for credit repair so I can start fresh and it costs about $8000. I do not have the credit to rent /buy my own place. I have a repo and other collections.

About me.

I was born and raised on Detroit’s eastside of Michigan. I left home 5 months after my 18th birthday and joined the military to create a better life for myself and my family. I served for 7 years and returned to Detroit so my family could bond with my son, especially my elderly grandparents. Since being home I’ve been working on and off and going to school on and off. I spend time teaching my 4 year old son and helping others with goods or services or quality time.

My backstory.

I am in this situation because of my poor decision making skills. I am aware that I need help in some areas and discipline mothers. I wanted to become debt free so I lived with a family (grandmother and aunt) who didn't personally support or the living conditions weren't beneficial to myself or my son. Since March 2019 I’ve lived on my own for approximately one year (9mos).

My goals, moving forward.

Obtaining my Masters Degree in social work. I am enrolled in community college and in a program to transfer to a university program to get the license needed to own my own practice working with at-risk youth and elderly. Being the best, nicest, loving mother to my children because I can focus on achieving a better life for them to learn from.
