It's very important to me to have a vehicle so I can better assist the elderly with volunteer work, helping them to take care of themselves by driving them to fun events and delivering their groceries. I also need a vehicle because I want to take my grandkids to beautiful places, be able to connect with them in other parts of the state, take them to parks and show them a good childhood.
I'm from Baldwin County, Alabama and I've lived in the city now for three years. I used to clean condos in the Gulf Shores; however, through some injuries I got from my job I'm unable to work and I'm currently seeking medical assistance for my injuries. I like to go to the park, fish, spend time with seniors and my grandkids, and be a part of online spiritual fellowships. I am a dog person!
I became homeless due to my workplace injuries, and a friend of mine told me about a lot of programs I could apply for here in the city. She ended up getting me started, but she fell into hard times herself and we were separated and I've been trying to find my way ever since. Because of that, I ended up being on the street and have found it difficult to get back on my feet.
My goals moving forward are to get a car, get back into fishing, and find my way into sustainable housing.
My proudest moment has been being a great mother, a great friend and a good sister. I'm proud of being someone who cares and thinks about others, and also my resourcefulness. If the grocery store's closed, I know how to survive! I know how to hunt, fish and grow my own food.
I'm raising money for basic needs so I can purchase hygiene items, personal documents, shoes, and school supplies.

I'm raising money for the Competency Evaluation Program so I can renew my Certified nursing assistant cerificate**.
I'm raising money for crown so I can chew and eat appropriately.
