I'm getting ready to transition from the MER Program at Mariners Inn to my own place to live independently. I have been sober for 3 years and now it's time to move forward. I am moving out of Mariners Inn and into a fresh sober start with my own apartment. I would greatly appreciate any help that you could give!

I was homeless and addicted to heroine when I first came to Mariners Inn. I'm now 3 years clean, going to school full time, and preparing to move into my own apartment.
I plan on doing an internship at Detroit Recovery Project and become a certified recovery coach! My goal is to work with individuals that have been in the same situation as me and help them as much as possible.
My dream is to live sober and be peaceful. I am now living a more genuine and happy life without the use of drugs. Making a smooth transition into my new apartment will be a dream come true, then I can continue living my life in sobriety.
