I'm raising money for basic needs so I can purchase a refrigerator.

Why I'm using HandUp for my basic needs.

I have a daughter who is 15 years old and would fundraise for a refrigerator so I can keep the milk, yogurt and other items fresh for us. I need to cook meat and different food items. A double door mini fridge is better for us. I have one now but it has broken and now we can not keep our items fresh and because I can not longer store items it is affecting our diet.

About me.

I was born in San Francisco. I was raised in Honolulu, Oahu. I was a single mother who raised six children. I lost my one son to a car accident. I moved back to San Francisco in June 2016. I am hard of hearing and I use sign language!

My backstory.

I gave up Parental Right with my last child. My daughter is now living with her uncle, who is a legal caretaker while I am trying to recover from depression.

My goals, moving forward.

My goals are to finish my GED and then be able to find a permanent job and a stable life. And I hope that I can find a permanent home.

Other things I'd like to share about myself.

My biggest dream is to own a "Tiny House" of my own.
